Senzeni Marasela (b. 1977, Thokoza) is a Soweto-based cross-disciplinary artist exploring photography, video, prints, and textile-based installations. Her work addresses history, memory, and overlooked narratives. A 1998 graduate of the University of Witswatersrand, she completed a residency at the South African National Gallery, later exhibiting in its Fresh series.

Marasela has exhibited widely in South Africa, Europe, and the U.S., with works in collections like MoMA, the Smithsonian, and the Newark Museum.
