Soweto born Melissa Goba is an artist, writer, curator and producer who has over the past few years focused on the visual arts. She holds a Fine Arts Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand Her interest is primarily is on the global impact of popular culture.

As an artist Goba is interested in the notion of Abstraction from and African perspective.
